The 2010 "Spring Tea and Garden Extravaganza"
was held on Saturday, May 8th at St. James' Church. This annual affair was attended by many who ate a great lunch
of tea sandwiches, received lots of information for their 2010 garden, and was able to purchase starter plants. This
event is sponsored by the ECW of St. James' and the Sault Area Garden Club.

Sunday, March 21, Jim Stobie played the organ at
St. James during the 10am service. He has played a couple of concerts in the past year for St. James and will be
leaving the area in the next few months, so an appreciation party was held after the service. Jim Stobie was born in Colorado in 1984, and raised in Evergreen, near Denver. He commenced
learning organ at Colorado State University four years ago, studying with Dr Joel Bacon. He also plays piano and most enjoys
Claude Debussy's work as well as the usual favorites. Jim
enlisted in the U.S. Coast Guard about a year ago and is stationed at Station Sault Ste Marie as a Seaman. Jim has received
orders and will be leaving the Sault in the next month for Virginia.

The Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper was held on
February 16 from 5-6:30pm. Live music and lots of pancakes kept the Mardi Gras themed evening fun. The proceeds
for this fundraiser go towards the annual Christmas Shopping the Youth do for less fortunate families.

The theme for the 2009 ECW Bazaar was "O Come
All Ye Faithful." It was another huge success for the Women of St. James. Everyone worked hard and had a
great time.
