On Sunday, December
4, 2011, the LSSU Dance Group performed a liturgical dance for the Second Sunday of Advent, in place of the lessons and Gospel
at the 10am service.
On Sunday, December 4, 2011, the youth of St.
James did their annual Christmas shopping for a family in need. Presents were wrapped and delivered along with a food
basket. Proceeds from the monthly Pancake Breakfasts and the Bottle Returns help fund this project each year.
On Saturday, November 19th, the E.C.W. held their annual
bazaar "Ho Ho Holly Days." A good time was had by all.
On October 2, newly elected
Bishop Rayford Ray paid St. James a visit. On that same day, Rowan Mauldin was baptised by Bishop Ray. Rowan's
Godparents are Jeremy Ripley, Dan Sarns and Jean Austin. Rowan is the son of Shawna and Kirk Mauldin.
